Domo everyone ! - got a huuuge problem :S

well, it's not rly my problem, it's a friends :x .
The problem is many some students in our class,(2) don't have ANY respect- they call her a wannabe and that she's ugly obviously she's not. I rly hate them . And if we want to stop them they just play the big boss and say sth. like : "U don't have any right to say s.th like thaat"

So HM, ! . what should she do. or we ? i mean i don't like their attidude towards her .. but the others just keep saying she should ignore it. But i'm not sure if that's right.. I mean I'm one of her best friends ! And i want to defend her !!!! .
and even one of the 2, hits her on the head ! . (one time I slapped him , cuz he exaggerated !)
well .. so should i just watch and let my friend suffer ? or should we come up with an idea how to gain their respect... ?!
